Water Policy

The following policy has been formulated by the above Association in keeping with the current climatic conditions and the ongoing drought  resulting in a  serious depletion of water sources, and the community’s perception, not entirely untrue, that endurance riding is a very high user and at times wasteful of this precious commodity.

Nanango is subject to level 5 water restrictions, the water used at this event will be sourced from the town water supply. The Council has allowed the use of this water on the above provisos. Riders are welcome to bring their own water supplies, however this same policy will apply to all comers

It is therefore incumbent on all participants of endurance rides conducted by this Association to follow the standards set to stop the negligent waste of water.
